Chairman’s opening address.
Ken thanked those present for all their support and work with regards to the club over the past year.

Election of Club officials

The post of Chairman was up for Election. No member showed an interest to stand and the current Club Chairman, Ken Cain agreed to carry on the post for another term.

The post of Club Secretary was up for Election. No member showed an interest to stand and the current Club Secretary, Michael McGarry,
agreed to carry on the post for his first full term after Bob Ayre stood down part term due to work commitments over seas.

The post of Treasurer was not up for election. Jamie Smith continues in this position.

The post of Floating Officer was not up for election. Elsdon Watson continues in this position.

Treasurer’s Report

Jaime Smith presented a detailed report of the current funds within the club and gave a breakdown of the account #2 by month over the past year. Account #1 is not yet in his control and is to be handed over before the next meeting. He now has access to internet banking of the #2 account and presented a bank form for signatories after Bob Ayre requested to be removed from the list as he was no longer available as a signatory. A vote took place to agree with the following people to be signatories of both Accounts #1 and #2

Vote carried.

Fundraising
A Fun Pig racing night has been arranged for the 12TH September at the Savoy Hotel. It was proposed and voted the moneys raised will be split between a local charity and club funds. Six charities were proposed and the Isle of Man branch of the Alzheimer’s Society was chosen by vote.

The following people have gifted there time to the following tasks

All members are requested to try to sell race cards in advance of the night.

Total tickets available will be advised by Ken Cain in discussion with the Savoy Hotel.

Membership
The current membership of £10 per member is now due for payment. Members who have yet to pay for last years membership will be reminded that they are still owed and encouraged to pay both last and this years memberships. Payments should to be made to Jamie Smith.
Christmas Party
Following from the June meeting Jill Christian presented a number of options available for a Christmas meal. The sheets were handed out for people to mark their preference. The sheets have been handed to Michael McGarry to compile the most popular choice and further discussions will then be had to finally gather numbers of people interested.

The committee wishes to thank Jill Christian on behalf of all members for her work in this matter.
